It is what it is im afraid.

They don't give a sh!t, whole raft of things they could do to make it easier for farmers/ less people on farms but they haven't done any of it.
At the moment i dont suppose us straw sucking hicks are high up on the government's agenda their first priority has to be controlling the movement of people so the nhs doesnt sh!t itself in a fortnights time

NHS was meant to be under massive strain this week from the virus from the so called computer models.

About 150 odd in hospital from it.

And here they have closed down the cancer wards and sent the doctors etc home on extended leave... ( and they are not self isolating ) as they have nothing to do.

Just thinking that it is not possible to just announce that we are all shut down from tonight. Local market has 650 to sell tomorrow, many in tonight and over 1500 sheep in tonight.

I presume that as essential workers we will be able to travel but there will only be two buyers allowed at the market.
I would of thought that a store market would be off now? Maybe have too pick up stock in morning and bring them home? Would be interested in knowing that happens in that situation?

With restaurants closed who is going to buy lamb as a weekly meal? Yes mince is cheap but every other cut is expensive - Leg of lamb (highest sales) talking about £30! Whole shoulder £25 - for a sunday lunch with a large family its not financially viable. Compared to say a chicken (even 2) - a beef roast is a lot cheaper. I cant say I know many friends who buy lamb. We have plenty in the freezer but if I had to buy it it would be for a very special occasion.
many women spend £40 a week at nail bar , some nearly £100 for hairdo , a leg of lamb would feed a family , priorities and all that
