And what were you expecting ?Ours were around £2 00 per kg on what I would have guessed they would weigh so I wondered if there was bidding or just a share out.

On price do you mean? it seemed better at the end of last week and it's behind Exeter and Ludlow so hoped for more. And what were you expecting ?
Yea, you said you averaged £2 I was wondering what ppk you were expectingOn price do you mean? it seemed better at the end of last week and it's behind Exeter and Ludlow so hoped for more.
Don't know the weight so just guessing on the weights when we went through them but I wasn't expecting anything in particular, I know better than that at any time never mind now, just hoping for more based on the last few days.Yea, you said you averaged £2 I was wondering what ppk you were expecting
Not brill unless a lot overweightAhdb says they had just over 1000 and sqq was 199.6. So not brilliant.
All the marts are quick to put videos up on Facebook when there flying so where are they now to show us what’s happening?
they could be sat in the office sharing them out for all we know
I think it should be compulsory to have a video of stock been sold. Everyone should be able to see their hard work been sold. All the marts are quick to put videos up on Facebook when there flying so where are they now to show us what’s happening?

There was 2400 in with sqq of 200 and overall 192p There was a lot of big ones in and unfortunately big one’s weren’t wantedAnybody know how the hoggs sold in Carlisle? were the buyers bidding or just a share out? heard a price but no weight so no wiser really. No mention yet on their website
Really?
Not meaning anything funny Guth but what other view can they have? ‘Oh yes we have had two months of lockdown but now it doesn’t matter it can go rife now until we find a vaccine’.Yes it could be and well may end up getting much worse price wise than is currently the case!
And it could well happen if the NHS chiefs get their way and keep the UK in lockdown until there is a vaccine/ no new cases of this virus which will be years away!

Buyers were supposed to be bidding
I bet they do want the overweight lambs...pay less and sell them for the same price ...what’s not to likeThe sqq quoted would exclude the heavy ones already.
And no, retailers don’t want overweights, they never have. They want 18-21kg (preferably at the lower end) and an R2/3L, not that they pay a big enough differential over the ‘out of spec’ ones.
I just looked at the lower 192 which tells the story. Not much less than 45kilos tight skinned white faced lambs in Carlisle or don’t bother turning up ! Have you ever been to a prime lamb sale there? The sqq quoted would exclude the heavy ones already.
