Boo for Boris

Apparently “social media” are trying to whip up a storm so that at 8pm on Tuesday we go out of our homes and boo Boris

Much as I dislike the blonde ballbag, What has this country become where our PM is drawing such opprobrium that an “organised” boo is supposedly taking place?

More than just the Cummings affair imo though

Until the Cummings affair, I would have come out and cheered for Boris. But maybe now I’ll neither boo nor cheer.

What a common oik Cummings is! He looks and dresses worse than anything that Corbyn would have employed.
I simply cannot understand what the heck Boris sees in him, needs him or why he wants to protect him.

As I understand it he “masterminded” the election campaign. Apparently he is the brain of the government. Without the brain there isn’t much hope.
having said that I was never one to believe that any one person is indispensable, however the “ gap “ while finding a replacement could leave the government in a somewhat vegetative state, which is what the detractors hope for of course.

What’s apparent in all of this is the lukewarmness of a large part of the Tory Party to the general direction over the last 6 months including Brexit. Content to bask in the success of the election but distinctly uneasy about the new radical agenda hence more than happy to see the boot put in to Cummings. Without Cummings it will go back to the muddled mess in the middle that it always was. Nigel pushed the party to the right, Cummings held it there and sold it to the grass roots and Parliamentary party. The danger is we go back to muddle fudge and compromise but some people seem quite happy with that.

Everyone moans about how out of touch politicians are with the common man, especially opinion outside of the London/ Westminster circles.
Well Cummings is completely in touch with the majority of us, and I'm sure that the only way he can maintain that is to ignore the massive pressure from the hordes of press constantly trying to batter everyone of any influence to their liberal minded way of thinking, is just tell them to fudge off!

One can only think he has alot of dirt on Johnson and other front bench. He has kept Johnson out of the news about the American woman.

Maybe, but we’ll all be watching Cumming’s live explanation later today, won’t we?

It’ll be the 1st time I will have watched any of the daily bulls**t for a while. I’ve even got some beer in to celebrate this special occasion!

He's certainly got a big hold on somebody (sadly, I don't think we'll get to know what for a year or two).

Probably the biggest hold he has over the clueless lot of 'em is the fact that he's the 'ideas man'. Without him they would struggle to come up with policies that will work.

Do you really think his explanations of going up to his fathers estate and using one of his spare houses is putting him in touch with the common man. :scratchhead:
