I suspect hydrogen is just to expensive atm. It consumes massive amounts electricity in its processing, making it an unattractive option compared to straightforward renewable electricity vehicles.
2/3rd of it I think ?
I knew there was a catch ??2/18ths by weight, so about 11% actually. And it takes a lot of energy to get it out of the water.
Mazda bongo drivers have a “Wave”Ineos lurkers if you're reading this .............
Today I was out showing cattle to some prospective purchasers and we both had Defenders doing a 60 mile round trip through the lanes of South and West Suffolk
On our way round I guess we saw 30-40 other Defenders coming the other way and all but one gave the Defender wave and acknowledgement
Now I know it's a small thing but it's also a big thing for the brand . Now JLR have gone off piste I would implore Ineos to set up social media support to encourage Ineos waves from the get go ..........
Can't you run an internal combustion engine on hydrogen?Obtaining it, compressing/liquefying it and storing it all a PITA. Hydrogen fuel cells, great, need a platinum catalyst for that, about 60 grams per vehicle. World platinum production is less than 200 tonnes a year. Call it 4 million cars then. Great.

I’m seeing zero axle articulationSo just spent the day at the new LR Defender press launch...general looks are a bit marmite... love it or hate it..fit and finish?..excellent....on-road? ...very stable ..very comfortable....off-road?.....probably the best you can get...gave it some serious testing on clay tracks after heavy rain.. with wading through 700mm deep water..unstoppable...hill descent and hill stop system..superb...don't think there's another off road vehicle that will touch it at the moment and that includes the rest of the JLR SUV range!! a few oldies about for the diehards

Or an 02 plate Renault kangoo vanYou just described the Ford Ranger
quite frankly it would eat a ranger for breakfast both on.. and especially off roadYou just described the Ford Ranger
ford was not stupid when they was involved .then supplied Land Rover with all their parts engine gearbox, They got a market With the Ranger what Land Rover as lost .quote came from a car Designer who is now working on the grenadier The Land Rover brand may be getting better but the dealers need a kick up the arse that’s the biggest problem arrogant attitude and snobbery.quite frankly it would eat a ranger for breakfast both on.. and especially off road
What they used to boast about was superior axle articulation and ground clearance to the side of the differentials, but road handling takes a higher priority these days and the use of clever electronics and a very stiff bodyshell with air suspension more than makes up for less articulation. It is myth that no other SUV can off-road besides a Defender. Where does this bilge stem from? Do Land Rover have a a way of defeating the laws of physics that no other car manufacturer has?
