We had a wee bit of snow this time last year, no such luck this year

but it could still come between now and Christmas.

Gum trees look cold in the snow, they aren't really dressed for it

I've got to say this morning was the coldest non frost/foggy morning I can ever remember here. Currently 1°c , local weather says feels like -3°c . And it certainly did feel every bit like it.Even the frost fans in the citrus grove near us didnt start till 7am . Normally they would be going half the night.
And before you say anything @Blaithin . We have had colder mornings. But they always have frost with them. There was hardly a hint this morning, not even ice on any of the gates.

1C isn’t freezing, why would there be ice? Just because it feels like -3 to us doesn’t mean it’s cold enough for ice.

Don’t think we get frost and frost warnings until it’s -1 or -3 or something like that.

Have you all seen the news from Beirut? So that's what nearly 3000 tonnes of ammonium nitrate going bang looks like, utter devastation.

Reminds me of the bad old days of the '70s there.

Hell of a bang! Takes quite a few stars to align to make AN go off like that. There was also talk of a Hezobllah munitions dump and munitions seized from a ship being stored near there. Put all that together and... you have your stars!

f**king cûnt tractor has shît itself again

doing the same job as before when a steering ram seal failed ( which, like last time, I’m trying to do before it rains on Friday. Rain beat me last time also, with last breakdown )
This time, I’ve blown a hose for the steering, up somewhere between the engine & the chassis rails where I can’t even see it or work out how to access it - but there is a big stream of hydraulic oil spraying out from there . . .
EVERY single f**king time I rely on this tractor, it lets me down

Some folk laugh when I say the No 1 important feature of any farm machine is reliability. That's partly why I'm shocked at the stuff manufacturers are pushing these days. Keep hearing of lots of minor faults in new tractors and big bills within first few years!

She must be REALLY pissing you off now.....
yep and the more crap thats put on them the more there is to go wrong
