Doesn't look to have suffered a great deal .Got another field drilled today. The forecast for yesterday until next tuesday said fine, yesterday we had countless heavy down pours and another 3mm over night.
I made a start ploughing before dinner and then my mate got on the plough and I chased him with the drill.View attachment 914277View attachment 914278View attachment 914279

Nelson wheat into osr stubble, I almost feel like a proper farmer DDing into green crop .
Your lucky! Rained or heavy drizzle most of the morning, now no wind or sun. What drills please?
Swapped drills, putting Extase into the linseed and pea stubbles, and some contracting into Maize.

Anything still attached to its roots just pulls straight through, but some longer stalks do bridge across the front until the toothed closing wheels catch it and drag them under. How does the Primera cope with maize stalks? You're on that lovely red dirt which is cheating.
Not seen that drill before, checking it out nowAnything still attached to its roots just pulls straight through, but some longer stalks do bridge across the front until the toothed closing wheels catch it and drag them under.
I must admit the soil is in excellent nick this autumn, hasn't been slotty at all which our soils are quite prone to
There’s a few in Kent, very underrated drill in my opinion, Amazone don’t seem interested in pushing it.Not seen that drill before, checking it out now
There are some awful messes as I have driven around this week. Bit of death by roller' and some fields of sludge. This heavy rain has started to do damage. Still plenty on ploughing puddles in and following straight behind with the drill. The weather over the following weeks will decide whether they or right or not IMHOSloppy and wet on top. Almost as bad underneath. No further progress on any kind of land work for the foreseeable future.
You've been round mine then .There are some awful messes as I have driven around this week. Bit of death by roller' and some fields of sludge. This heavy rain has started to do damage.
