Still very few farms other markets.

That one has been floating around on the market for years, little chance of expanding a grazing platform due to the large quarry nearby. Buildings are oversized really, will be a tough place to shift.

Land rented all over the place for silage and digestate.

1200 acres
Ive just read some of the particulars. All rented on FBTs,at god knows how much rent.12 staff to be taken on.Currently locked down with TB.Looks like a fair number of population living nearby,no doubt all keen to complain about the stink and factory farmed 1300 cows housed 365 days /year.Absolute f**king nightmare!Massive high cost production.Looks like they are on a hampster wheel they cant get off.

Even worse. They dont hold the mineral rights and have quarry nearby. Why would they ever expand so much on such a small acreage?

Perhaps they are very good at the job and decided to upscale to make more .
That doesnt fit in with it being on the market for £4 million in 2014,and on for £2.4 million now.Their equity has been eroded. In any case, how many cows do you need to make a good living? 200 on there would have been enough to make a grand job, with some pleasure in it.

I can’t comment on cow numbers, I have 200+ myself, having more would make the job easier with labour not so much of a concern. Regarding the asking price, is the farm exactly the same as 2014?
