Pretty sure ABP were same price as foyle for Angus last week ours averaged 1407 steers and heifers after stoppages 20 months old I’m happy enough with that.
But have to agree probably not going to last.

Nowt against them for cows. Reliable quiet milky things. Had loads of Angus x Fresian cows in the past here.Sorted through our 15-18 month old heifers today that were out wintered until mid decenever. Wormed, clipped etc. Pulled out a 17 month old Augus out of a blue x fresian. Lovely long heifer, touch of shape. Quiet as a mouse. Decided she wasn’t going too do as well as I wanted in the stores as she’d make a real cow so I coppered her and put her in with the bull, he served her 45 minutes later so. I’ll try and get a picture tomorrow!

I think you miss read.I said cows not calves.there by my BB bull but I do and have had the odd Angus like that.

When I bought them as incalf heifers he gave me some luck and said ‘they are incalf to the Angus’

Some Angus have double muscle gene , frowned upon by ped breeders.

They don’t grade Angus it’s E to R all as one grade
