I would think that on the whole AB is a decent and honourable chap and he has undoubtedly done well for himself to be Estate Manager for Euston.

However, he is not a typical Farmer/Farm Manager to sit in his position as VC with RT.

Now that he has made such terrible gaffs by hurling unapologetic insults, abuse and disrespect towards his lesser mortals and members, the decent and honourable thing would be for him to resign, immediately!

And that goes for anybody else within it or the other organisations associated with RT, who act or are as unrepresentative of it, in a similar way.

But of more relevance to the debate, is Mr Blenkiron a typical RT Board Member?

I hope not, but as the man said, "Ahh have me doots....! "

He needs to resign but certainly MUST say sorry for his appalling/rude/ arrogrant and totally out of touch comments!

Also it needs to be made clear that the large estate he runs does NOT get any favours when its inspected for the RT scheme, and really anyone who sits on the RT board should have no connection to any business that is RT assured for the sole reason of fairness!

That would mean no farmer representation on the board

Well given the current situation that may well not be a bad thing, especially given how ALL the farmer reps on the board like Blenkririon/ batters and whoever the latest NFU puppet she has put on the board is have SOLD grassroots hardworking farmers down the river the last few years!

All the current/ past farmer reps on the RT board are only there to either further their own careers on boards such as this or/and increase their own profile, they answer to no one but themselves and are narrow minded on the RT issue in the extreme which is no good for anyone connected with the RT scheme!
