When I'm king, if you pass the String Test you're good for free NHS treatment. So what about those of us who are of working age, (and still in full time work) but chronically ill but not self inflicted? In the last 12 months I have had 3 GP referrals, 7 consultant phone or face to face appointments, 3 out-patient hospital procedures and two eye hospital eye referrals. That was actually quite a good year for me. I'm awaiting another procedure too. We are to get taxed for illness now are we? Until 2015 I probably didn't bother my GP more than once in 8 or 9 years.
And nothing to do with obesity, smoking or any other lifestyle.

When you get older you also get shorter. Is there a revised test for us oldies or do we have to get proportionately thinner than the young ones? My waist has also been supplemented by my falling chest, my wife`s more so. Do we get dispensation for that, your highness, please? When I'm king, if you pass the String Test you're good for free NHS treatment.
One of my staff will create an algorithm to calculate an allowance for your dowager's hump and spinal compression. Or you will be stretched on a rack to see how tall you used to be.When you get older you also get shorter. You got me confused with someone else, look at the numbersDo you think if you repeat a lie often enough, people might start to believe it?
I’m not confused. I’m not the one that thinks a 10% increase is “normal” when it’s not.You got me confused with someone else, look at the numbers
It is all down to a shift lower in the centre of gravity which in turn helps to compensate for other causes of instability your highness. One of my staff will create an algorithm to calculate an allowance for your dowager's hump and spinal compression. Never let it be said that I am not a beneficent and compassionate despot.
Weebles wobble but they don't fall down.It is all down to a shift lower in the centre of gravity which in turn helps to compensate for other causes of instability your highness.
PreciselyWeebles wobble but they don't fall down.
Anyway, we're getting a little off-topic on a serious thread.
We didn't have lockdowns when mortality figures were much worse than they were in 2020.I’m not confused. I’m not the one that thinks a 10% increase is “normal” when it’s not.
Hope you feel better soon .I hardly see anyone bar going for a paper in the mornings but tested +ve yesterday. Been feeling off colour for a few days but none of the Covid symptoms, ie i've been shivering, not hot, taste and smell are fine, no continuous cough. Felt horrendous on monday night and got tested yetserday. +ve. Yesterday and last night were grim, I never usually get ill so not got a lot to compare it too but I've never felt so bad. Shivering so much the bed was shaking whilst also pouring with sweat, everything hurts including feeling like i've been kicked in the rubbish, dizzy, struggled to stand, and time seemed to have gone funny, like if I moved my head to the side it took a while for vision to catch up. Slept fitfully all day yesterday through til 11 this morn. Fortunately starting to feel a bit better now but people claiming it doesn't exist are deluded. I've kept away from my parents who live just across the yard and thank god I did. They're in their 70s and this would have finished them off.
