14 ton silage trailer what’s it worth?

This is one of our grain/silage trailers how much do people think it’s worth? It’s a tb14 2012 it’s carted grain silage and muck but always washed straight after it’s straight and tidy apart from the bent mudguard tailgate is rape proof on air and hydraulic brakes sprung drawbar, 550x45r22.5 wheels. It’s not for sale I’m after a trailer to cart muck and a bit of soil and stone but anything any good is very pricey so pricey in fact I’m thinking of buying a new one and demoting this to rough work! Any thoughts welcome

keep it and buy a square body dump trailer. wont be any more money than a new silage trailer. silage trailers wont last 5 mins if you start putting stone in them. i went for broughan but id probably go for one of these if i was buying again.

13-14k? Second hand trailer unless f**ked are serious dough compared to new

Yes I know but I wouldn’t get enough muck on there. It’s only me and brother driving so we’d be sensible with the stone and soil and we only do our own so bits and pieces. Main reason is washing the trailer every day after carting muck is wearing thin

Crikey it’s one of a pair they only cost 15 and a half in 2012 for the amount of work they’ve done they look a good investment

get one with grain sides? yes you could probably make do but if you are buying a new trailer why wouldnt you get the right one for the job? rather than potentially trashing 10-15k of trailer

Not 100% sure but there’s one in dealers yard he wants 19k for

Buy a second hand tipper truck. Cut the cab off and put a drawbar on.

Don't forget to sell the engine and box.
