Would you ever try any with Olly agricontracts Horsch?

I have had a demo of a 750A but only drilling some covers which had mixed results, some good, some not so good! I would have liked to have put some wheat in with it but they sold it as to someone so had to go back to before I had chance.
I have some land I really wouldn’t mind trying the the zero till route but here in the wet northwest there’s a reason nearly everyone has a plough and combi drill. It’s the expense of having two drills although I have considered building my own zero till tool bar like @Bob lincs has but really struggling to find the time! I’ll have to borrow Olly’s drill for a day

Yeah 3019 was pretty much a perfect storm. Weather wise. In a good way for us.

Yup, didn;t rain all winter which was a bonus then rain at the correct time, first time in a while we have done 5t as well,
Zyatt . I have some seams to stand well maybe not quite as good as yours but quite pleased at the moment. Trying some parkin this year.

Tipping on my Crispin as well and also the white specks on the flag. What’s the cause? Too hot when I sprayed T2? But I sprayed late evening? I thought I’d got it spot on this year so a bit miffed.

My spring barley has gone beserk. Thought I’d got it a bit thin but now looks too thick. Paintbrush stage. Will either be big crop or flat.

Still thin. Ear count? I agree it looks better now it's in ear. But barley yield is maximum ears per metre, subject to not so thick it doesn't fill, and keeping it stood.

grains/ear then average tgw then work your best yield guestimate. Come harvest compare but be prepared to be dissapointed
Anything less than 15t/Ha will mean some pretty thin grains.

Yellow rust on my Crispin flag leaf? Tip burnt as well.
Loads of mildew round the field edge.
What I didn’t do was to count the number of grains on a head.
