Thought I’d call and check how my extase is looking, still looks pretty clean just a little bit of tipping. Probably ready for a drink now like most other crops!

Canary seed still looking quite promising but definitely ready for some moisture now.

Well had a look at my winter barley and decided to wholecrop it (round bale)
All grassland and not much barley
It just never woke up
What stage do you cut
Its at the milky grain stage atm do I wait for the cheesey stage or cut it now
Spring barley aint V good either started to shooting out and about 8 inches tall
Never had a year like it when winter and spring barley are so bad
Well done to all those on here with great looking crops

Maybe out of the pan into the fire.

Do you get Roland Tin Hat down there in Devon

I'd go with the combine you will get what is there, even better nice eating straw.

sprayer across the remaining wheats yesterday with fungicide and foliar feed, early flowering late ear emergence wether we go again is now weather dependent. Winter barley hopefully done for the year just sp barley to get round today as its a lovely still dry morning and pressure of first cut hay/haylage making is off as now all safely in other than a couple of trailers to tip

Rats would be my concern too
Not much barley in crop tbh
Contemplating spraying off and combining it cause Im very short of barley and could use the grassland stuff for bedding
Would Probably make the 1075 snort a bit though
