On another occasion when I rang them to find out the spreader setting they said to use nitram settings, I had lithan that I was using at the same time and it looked nothing it.

Yara and CF have a deal that quite a lot of their 34.5% comes from UK, either Ince or Billingham, same as Nitram, same production line, just put in a different bag, its an age old deal, the 33.5% is imported as are the rest of its products
I was told by Origin that it could be Lithan, Pulan, Nitram or other depending what they have in stock, where it is and when it moves. So its a gamble.

Yes but they will know what came from where from delivery ticket numbers so they can give you the correct spreader settings.
All I know is they said it was UK produced AN, when I questioned them further they said it was nitram.
And from memory it was £15 ton cheaper than blue bag and the same price as lithan from another supplier.

It's worth what they can get for it and did all to do with global prices/demand.
If farmers see wheat dropping, get a little squeeky bum about it and stop buying then it'll come down.

I can't get excited about current prices enough to want to buy so will wait and see. Personally I think it's getting near the top so has more chance of either leveling off or dropping that to keep rising........but I may be wrong

ammonia prices up today, nitrates into europe up, urea prices up again. India back in market. China talking about export tax. It does not look like the short term will get any better. And, I've been told that there might be £2 on each ton bag coming back on to prices for national stuff.

One Merchant I deal with said he hadn't sold any loads for next year at all! So it obviously isn't shifting.

Haulier from Avonmouth near Bristol brought two loads of fertiliser here on Tuesday and the drivers were saying how unusually busy they were moving product now instead of the new year.
