New farm, the journey begins!

Wet!!!

Managed to get around on 4 wheeler and map out drainage work required, there some drains that need a scrape, a few new ones need to go in. Nothing major.

Will also put make some hardstand near trees etc for shelter when wet.

Does it all drain to a dam? Could be handy if it did.

Wet up here too. Not like that but wet nonetheless. More rain Friday on by the looks of it.

Some does go to my dam which is now full, the rest goes to a very handy 1.5m drop off about an acre in size in nth west corner of farm, that goes to a drain and a swamp, so ot wont be the hardest drainage project for sure, paddock levelling will ne most important so water runs off, and after portland, im a pro at that, id love ti do it as a contracting service.

Oh and im chatting to a chick, a real one, and shes a bank manager...this will be a battle of the titans!! Hope to catch up with her soon.

Pissin rain again today.

Well the weather has bunged it on ere!!! We are getting these wind blasts coming through every hour, its pretty wet now.

The paddocks really need a level, wont be to bad if water can run to a drain.

The farm house is holding up well

Jas the new pet lamb is boomin along, stackin on weight.

My steer with one eye finally made it to market, 740kg at 4.45kg.

New cattleyard area to wet to even contemplate doing anything

Well when a city chick says they want to live in the country, this is code for sell your farm and lets buy fancier house than her friends, in the city.

Animal farming is a no go.

If not within 5km of beach, wipeoff 90% of the dating pool in oz.

Oh and if u live to far from city, your fault...

Interesting experience

Intersting, but simultanously excruciating. Were they aware of how they came across or just totally tone deaf?
Were they just looking for anyone with assets and thought "farmer=soft touch" ??

I am far more interested in the details of the mind not the body :)

Dare say most have the "perfect" life but just need that 1 lapdog to complete "them". A handbag to accessorize and show off to their friends.
So you were the lapdog? Why did they want to meet you - I mean they really were that dumb, I still don't understand why they asked?
Sorry if this is intrusive, but I just can't see the motivation and their expected outcome. Was it a free meal - I am still in my head going WTF?
