Have spoken to him he left on good terms offered his resignation after a problem with trading standards regarding cattle movements

But its very unlikely that he did get pushed out/ resigned over a cattle movements issue.
Given his posts on FB it does not appear that he was expecting to leave the market suddenly and at very short notice like what has happened!
