Unsettled from Sunday has now turn to a short heatwave down here. 27 on Monday and 25 on Tuesday 🤷‍♂️.
Just waiting on a small patch of winter beans and a fair chunk of spring beans (still green 🙄)
3rd cut grass to tie up as well when the sun makes a brief appearance

How is spring wheat yielding in general . Never had any luck with it here on the odd occasion I tried it
not great, but it had 7 weeks of zero rain after drilling from mid March to First week of May then 100mm in may, so it went into survival then through the growth stages very quickly. Stubbles are lovely and clean though so it is what it is. Land is still recovering from 2019 winter though so hopefully next harvest will be back to a bit more normal.

Winter beans done today, a bit of drama with the drier deciding to f**k up but sorted now.
Some outlying fields of wheat planned for the next couple of days, then fingers crossed, finish off with the quinoa next week with hot sunny weather forecast.
