Auto scrapers onto slat mats.

We have cowcare rope scrapers that scrape onto slats in front of the robots. I'm wanting to put slat mats down to help with white line as cows always seem to bull on the slats. Has anyone successfully got a scraper going from concrete passage up onto slat mats without it jamming or damaging the mats? A metal strip had been mentioned as a ramp, but thought that might come loose in time and cause more problems. Wondered about grinding the concrete down so the last mat finishes flush with the concrete, sounds easier said than done.

We used to do something similar, and as you say the metal strips were never a success, I would go for Grinding the concrete down, one of those Grinding disks in a 9" grinder can fairly remove it.

I wouldn't grind the top of the slats as you could be getting close to the steel in them depending on what cover the manufacturer uses.
What about a small ramp made with concrete or a resin type material instead of steel?

Was thinking about continuing the mats into the passageway which is not slatted.
