Okay youv made me feel better 😂😂… It’s. It looks nice from a distance but very patchy in the bottom… a lot of fresh germination in last few days weather it’ll survive I’m not sure there’s already a lot of holes appearing in the new stuff
I doubt the new seedlings will come to much now anyway, probably not enough to justify the insecticide.

Iv heard they have dropped back a bit.
Just got back from Lazonby, we went through about 5 ish and to be honest I'm a bit disappointed. Averaged £109.50, 1st 2 pens £140, someone said afterwards those 2 pens should of been more like £180. 1st 2 hours is the best trade usually at that sale, might split them up next year and try some somewhere else.

That's enough sheep chat for today 😂
What will suckled calf prices be like this time? Got a few that I'm thinking of selling off the cow, cows are getting culled! They are 5-6mths, approx 200-250kg at a guess, pure Blonde. Never sold at that age before, so any guidance would be good, cheers!
Bit light, take them to 8-9mths and 300+kg. With the beef price where it is i think trade will be and should be mental, we annual autumn sellers havent had our bananza and share of the high beef price pie yet so im hoping the buyers have put some of the fantastic beef price returns aside ready to reward us breeders. Without us there will not be any in-spec cattle to finish! Beef price last year during the autumn sales was about 365ppk , now its 400+ppk .

We had alot of good runners from £100 to £118, one pen of 15 very small lambs £79. Think its our bigger lambs I'm a bit disappointed with £122 to £140
I was hoping to go but couldn’t get away from drilling, will go to the next sale now. Would you say trade was about £20 up on last year?

Might of been for some people and the report will probably read something like that but definitely not for us, would struggle to be £10 up, think we were around £100 last year and thought this years lambs were better
