There are two quoting in my area, currently 74.2ppl and 81.2ppl, delivery in upto 10 days time. I'm hoping that isn't where the market is.
Edit: that's for 1000 litres.
I also had some wax up last winter. It was a real pain getting things going again. I have some additive on standby to put in the tank if I am still left with summer diesel over the winter. Once it starts to wax up there is little you can do.Had some wax up last January

Had summer wax up at 0 to -2 now always buy enough to get to November then switch to fresh winter
tried additive but it is impossible to mix it properly
have 3 storage tanks keep winter in one over winter
drain the combine of summer in November and clean the 2 inch pencil filter in the tank bottom which caused fuel filter warnings last year with new filters

If you need to add additive do I now while the fuel is still warm. Can’t remember exactly but I think it doesn’t mix well below 8 degrees

The kicker is it most likely won't come in 10 days. Suppliers are now quoting spot and 14-21 days is average delivery window.

All I can say I have bought one lot over 51p this harvest... 4 weeks ago at 57p, it may be the last as all fallow is looking a definite prospect now.
No one could predict these extraordinary price variations
