I some what agree, but then again if they said 6 months ago it would be this price it would of taken some believein?I would be very surprised if fert reached those levels as it would lead to starvation on a global level.
Yes and free cattle wintering please. There will be plenty of stuff already in the ground that needs fert from February onwards more than likely thoughI would just like too point out.
all you arable men out there worrying about the fert problem… there’s something called livestock. They produce lots of poo regardless of what you feed them. As our mechanic says “it all goes too make a turd” which might explain why he has so few friends… but I digress.
I will send you sheep for FREE! Too be fed on your farms and leave you lots of lovely phos rich sheep poo. that’s right, I won’t charge you a penny. All I ask is that you send them back at 40-42kg BCS 4.5/5 and maintain a mortality rate sub 3%. It’s easy, sheep farmers do it and we’re pretty simple folk…
It has been at these levels or close to it before,£1000 /ton is completely uncharted territory.I some what agree, but then again if they said 6 months ago it would be this price it would of taken some believein?
At 20k an artic load .I think if I had arable crops in or a big dairy farm I would be biting the bullet and buying it.
Red sand was always rumoured to be in cheap cake 20 yrs agoThere's a firm by me who was rumoured to "buffer" the feed with a certain product.
Neighbour asked if we used the cake, said it was expensive shite. Which I replied "what do you expect, have you seen the price of Axminster!"
I didn’t buy it early on this year and bought it at the dearest part of the springAt 20k an artic load .
You’d be skint from stocking it with winter sheep though…I think if I had arable crops in or a big dairy farm I would be biting the bullet and buying it.
I have no idea what wheat or barley costs to put in but it will be bloody dear now. Fert is just part of it and no point loosing the rest because of not having it.At 20k an artic load .
Yes but I would have tonnes of shyte which I have now!!!You’d be skint from stocking it with winter sheep though…
Part of the long term plan. I like it! Sounds similar too my own… although I do insist that the Mrs plays the euro millions for us as well… if she wins I’ll buy the ticket off her at double what she paid for itYes but I would have tonnes of shyte which I have now!!!
