You haven't seen many bullocks then!!!I’ve never seen a bullock with temperament issues of any breed . Calving cows is a different ball game , that’s where temperament counts .

£650-750 at a guess without weight, pics or rough location. Bad sorts reared badly could be £400's and good sorts grown on well could be £800'sAnyone got a rough price for Angus X dairy heifers? 9-12 months, seen a bit of food and don't look too dairy bred. Plan was to keep them till March however its my first year rearing calves, got a bit carried away and now short of shed space.
Better to all come down in a wagon...cant put many on a coachif you took a coach load yourd make em dearer than leek and bakewell! yer bu99er that would upset the local buyers.
Blue greys seem too be making a resurgence this last couple of years. I’ve a piece of rough ground would be ideal with 12 cows plus a lim bull on. But I keep chickening out and just running lim heifers up there. One year I’ll manage it!There was some small blue grey heifers bloody dear too 3 at £1000 or near
Yes I’m in the same boat. Neighbour has some here they are usually out all winter and graze when the rest won’t. I’ve never been to the Kirkambeck sale or Newcastleton before. I realised on Saturday why I haven’t got any. I think they were up £680 or something daft last year at newcastleton on 2019. I reckon he was parked up in our shed tonight ..(unless it's @spin cycle 's Parcelforce)I fear my carrier pigeon demanding fund liquidation before the blue grey sale at lockerbie on Tuesday ( Newcastleton) has either stopped for a rest , or been ate by a hawk .
For the wee lads well-being, just send him back north . I shall venture to lockerbie on Tuesday armed with a cheery smile, my cap jauntily set, hope in my heart, and feck all in my wallet !!I reckon he was parked up in our shed tonight ..(unless it's @spin cycle 's Parcelforce)

What you mean a load of fresh air...rather than a load of dear ones..Better ti come home empty handed and full bellied than with a fully loaded trailer and bitterly disappointed the next morning

That’s very trueBetter ti come home empty handed and full bellied than with a fully loaded trailer and bitterly disappointed the next morning
Some of my best days at a mart are when I come home empty, or with twice as many as I wanted.Better ti come home empty handed and full bellied than with a fully loaded trailer and bitterly disappointed the next morning
