I wrote to Rayburn and expressed my dissatisfaction over what appeared to be a Cartel being operated by their approved service agents.
When I actually had the work completed, surprise, surprise I received a considerable discount as they claimed they had to replace less parts and the time taken was much less!!
I have never had an issue with S J Feist who do the work but felt they were taking the Pi**.

Thanks Frank . Was it Feist's who did the job in the end ? Had a quote from them of £2800 to repair ours which like you hurts after they supplied, installed & serviced it from new

How old is the Rayburn? They worked on the worst possible scenario with mine but they did not need to replace as many of the parts. To be fair to them the Rayburn has been upgraded.
What I did not like was when I asked for another quote from an approved agent at Battle, they refused to quote against Feists's.
If it is a relatively new Rayburn I would suggest you write to Rayburn customer service and complain.

Hi Frank, I've put up some sheep grazing in the wanted section (as being available - if that makes sense!)

Your name was recommended as maybe needing some in the thread. I've got about 13acres in 2 fields - any interest to you?

      All the best. Andy
