Combinables Price Tracker

So options then! How much do they cost to run? Whenever I've asked in the past they always seem expensive, but this could have been the year that makes them seem cheap. For example I started selling a bit at £160 and that position is now worth about 230 (245 local price) so if it cost a tenner then its money well spent. However its not the first time that the first sale has been my best sale so if the options had cost 10 then I would be down on average. Therefore I tend to stick to my usual selling pattern. About 30% of wheat that is in the ground by now and if it looks ok then maybe another 30% by harvest. That is only for the wheat. Spring feed barley is probably best sold post harvest and the biggest tonnage I have is rye. Some of which is in a pool, some is futures minus and the rest is the gamble. Therefore I think I'm doing ok with my strategy on average but it is years like this that make you question your strategy.
This leads me into next year, about 30% committed with the last sale at 215, what could I do to capture any gains if it goes higher and approx how much would it cost?
