Thanks for your warning, there’s a few round our way. The trouble I’ve heard of is the front of the boom that connects to the head stock shearing clean off after about 4 years use.
Italian are they not? The electrics were shite on the old lancia delta cars.. fooking fast though.
I suppose all makes give trouble, it’s how the dealer/ manufacturers rectify the problem that counts .

Wow thats a nasty one!!! what were you doing with it when it broke? Was the boom safety key where it should have been?
I was pushing muck up a heap with the bucket tipped so there was a lot of strain on it, yes the safety key was on. Guy that welded it back up spotted some hairline cracks that had been there a while.

When we change I’d seriously look at merlo, they seem to design machines with 3.5t 7m in a very compact looking size. Have always had to go for 2.7 t 6m because next size just to numb for some of our yards.
Olly blogs likes his , and he gives em some work💪
Kramer will be good I just think the bonnet is far too high for descent visibility.
They have 3 machines running around a concrete yard, most of the time they are moving wood chip and grain they won,t muck out cattle yards or not much anyway, seems an easy life for a th imo.

Have had a Bobcat 38.70 here since March. Dealers are great as is the 5 yr warranty and 5 yr 0%. I also got a 5 year service package too as I wanted known costs.
Love the machine. Hydraulics are fantastic and the so far. the machine seems put together and the paint has stayed on!!

Gripes. A mentioned before, the self locking pins button has to be held and it is in a stupid place - I think this has been sorted out on the latest model.

The thing that bugs me more than anything is the glass - the reflections are horrendous and half the time you can't see the mirrors, never mind what is in the mirrors. There are times when it is just impossible to see behind. I am not just talking about in bright sunlight, the relections on dull days mean you have little vision at all. I am discussing with the dealers and Bobcat at the mo, saying it is a huge health and safety issue.

That must be something to do with glass tint, my 30.60 has perfect visibility it's one of the many aspects I really like about it 👍

BTW I'm not for one second doubting your experience.

Mine is white well meant to be anyway 😂

I'll put pictures up tomorrow but I've a different cab so here's a link for Farm Flix Bobcat video.

I quite like the pin release a very safe idea that the pins come out when you stop pressing the button and a wee black lock so you can't press it by accident.

That's it on the left in red for those who have never seen one.

Just a bit of lateral thinking solves the attaching procedure.

Boom out, press and hold button, boom in whilst lowering headstock, attachment off, release button.

Line up headstock near attachment, press and hold button, boom out to engage then tilt or lift as required, release button, attachment on.

Boom does all the moving, I have pin and cone so couldn't be simpler 👍😎
