The war in Ukraine...

It does have parallels with the Russian- Finnish war of 39-40 and probably every battle the Germans fought against them. In the one thing the the Russians never cared about losing was its soldiers. They were easily replaceable, tanks weren't

Things are different now. The Russians are critically short of competent infantry. That's why their unsupported tanks are being chewed up in Ukrainian anti armour ambushes.

That's also why foreign fighters from Syria are being recruited to act as Russian infantry. Not sure how well these guys understand combined arms operations though.

A Russian oligarch has already offered a million dollars to kill Putin, but it isn't that simple. You only have to look at the attempts on Hitler to realise how difficult and complex an operation it would need to be. But there is always a chance with some luck that the people around him decide he has become a liability and remove him one way or another.
Mildly interesting that this was being discussed on the Ides of March ;)

No, not from Kerry. Once the internet gets there, and they arrive in here, all bets are off.
That said, my “Kerryistic” retort to @Henarar must have caused serious consternation in Devon. He has as yet at least, failed to fire back one of his trademark one liners. My theory is he has retreated to his Beano library in the attic, to carry out much needed research. I expect a salvo of retorts later today…..
Your aim is about as bad as Russian artillery @Henarar is in Somerset
