Suckler cow trade at Sedge on Sat was as flat as a pancake.

Most outfits selling well below the cow's cull value and on top of that the calve would be thrown in for free in real terms.

Bull trade also very sticky, Char bulls sold well but apparently ( did not see them sold ) every other breed was very sticky and many bulls not making much more if any more than their on the hook value.
Looks a similiar story at raglan yesterday looking at the report, good outfits good money, average ones low money. Breeding bull trade is up and down, loads of bulls about with awful calving figures and mobility etc but the good ones are making very good money. Cull trade has lifted bull values too
