Doesn't argue against the point in question.kosovo
It kind of does.Doesn't argue against the point in question.
The US & UK had no interest whatever in Ukraines final outcome of any invasion, Biden admitted in public that the US had fully anticipated Ukraine giving in within three weeks of any invasion but not before sophisticated US & UK weapons & out of uniform men had destroyed a vast amount of Russian hardware proving their weakness & stopping any military agreement between Russia & China, what the US didn't anticipate was Zelensky's government not capitulating & pressurising ever increasing amounts of Western hardware to be provided.why would us and uk encourage a war when everyone thought Russia would go in and take control of Ukraine in a matter of days??
These are his troops ultimately under his command.Where has he tried to justify rape and murder of a child ? I must have missed it, could you quote it ?
Then do so and educate us, because being familiar with the current situation and Kosovo, a rational and objective assessment contradicts you...It kind of does.
In fairness the allies were keen to shelter those with technical expertise, particularly those with weapons and rocket technology but it was a very dirty situation even at a lower level. An old friend whose family had been involved with the the plant breeding hub around Erfurt in Germany told me that his grandfather had been entrusted to find a new mayor, as the previous one had been killed. A suitable candidate had been found and he travelled through the night to Heidelburg to pick up and return with the said person. The new mayor was installed but the expertise from Erfurt was fast fleeing to the west. The Russians shot the poor man because he was seen as a collaborator. The leading plant breeders in the Heidleberg area were members of the Wagner familly but I cannot recall whether it was one of them.Sorry Bob but war is war & no two armies fight it the same way, Russians maybe don't value life as we do given their history but when you consider the damage they are doing to residential areas it's surprising far more civilians aren't being killed, I've no doubt given the losses & injuries the Russians are taking that surviving Russians aren't beyond crossing a line they shouldn't.
Russia will make sure that what's left of Ukraine won't be worth joining NATO & that's always been their aim, Ukraine's fecked & the pretence of West's weapons saving them will simply result in far more destruction.
If you invite a fox into the chicken run don't be surprised at the outcome!
As for WW2 given the millions of Russians killed desperately fighting the Germans with not much more than rifles I'm not surprised the Germans wanted British protection.
This is probably why our airspace is so busy. A benign and well disguised mobilisation.
Romney: 'NATO could engage' in Ukraine if Putin used nuclear weapons
The Utah senator also said the West could confront Russian-allied nations with an ultimatum: "You are either with us, or you are with Russia."www.businessinsider.com

Probably not related but I’ve never seen it before
You over here again? They come along fairly regularly as mentioned above, some might be old and for target practice, evaluation or what have you, some will be current for training crews.driving along the m4 in wales earlier I pased

A relative who employed a number of Lituanians over time and valued their work ethic and dedication just lost his most trusted member. He returned home with the desire to join the Ukranian forces, though he fears he may be too old. His hatred and disrespect for the Russians was apparently endemic in the Baltic states. That Russian soldiers are this undisciplined is an indicator as to their state of readiness, their training and the nature of their command structure. I.e not much of any of them.
I hope Western countries give the Ukrainians whatever materiel they need. I hope more people volunteer to take the fight to the Russians. I'd like to see some air power on the side of the Ukrainians, too.
Perhaps they send the target practice ones to Russia. You over here again? They come along fairly regularly as mentioned above, some might be old and for target practice, evaluation or what have you, some will be current for training crews.
I'm pretty certain that I recall a report from Russian news media claiming that loads of old Western tanks had been taken to Ukraine, so that their carcasses could be claimed as kills by the Ukrainians...Perhaps they send the target practice ones to Russia.
