Is this a bit like the game where you have a card stuck to your forehead and you have to guess the person written on it.North of Penrith
I think if you read my first post, it's coming up for sale, not on the market as such yet, and no agent to put a link of the property, so as for now I don't want to go public, until the vendor goes publicIs this a bit like the game where you have a card stuck to your forehead and you have to guess the person written on it.
My turn, A6 , Wigton road, or fellside to Brampton ?
Well I think it is right next door to some of his ,Surely Mr Day will snaffle it up, or has his day been so to speak?

And the very big dairy/arable and large scale contracting outfit just up the road a couple of miles will more than likely be intrested in it as well.We farmed within a mile of this farm upto 6 years ago, superb ground, used to be heavily involved with swede. Would be a cracking farm, big herd of N Devon cattle ran the ground. Big dairy unit next door would chase I expect.

Yes it does and they have recently sold off the big farmhouse on that place i think.I'd be amazed if they hadn't bid already. Bolts on to another unit not too far away from there
Talking to land agent Friday, and they feel their not under selling , farm locally was on the market for 3 million for 290 acres (good sheep farm) , I thought that it was too expensive, well sold in 10 days and had to go for sealed bidder in the end for why more than the land agent thoughtI'd be amazed if they hadn't bid already. Hope you have better luck than we've had, neighbours and changed his mind and not going to sell currently , so back on the market to look again, if anyone wants to sell a 250 to 500 dairy unit suitable for spring calving anywherein the soutwest or Dumfries and Galloway, drop me a PM
We farmed ground right between both lots, so no exactly who your thinking ofI'd be amazed if they hadn't bid already. Bolts on to another unit not too far away from there
Looked at farm in Bow may have been in 07, lovely area bit dry for spring calving.I think it'll sail past the asking price. Not far from Crediton and theres houses going up all the time in that area plus it comes with 5 to sell on. Cracking growing area too.

Yeah, definitely a autumn calving area.Theres a lot of Autumn calvers in the area for that reason. I was surprised how dry and free draining the area is but can attract the cold too so spring may not be the earliest.
Ideal for maize we found but not great for early grass, ground bow side would be more fertile than crediton Exeter side.Theres a lot of Autumn calvers in the area for that reason. I was surprised how dry and free draining the area is but can attract the cold too so spring may not be the earliest.
