You really need lead to kill off horses. If you want advice on how to keep the horses and improve the grazing, best start by telling us what the history of the ground is - when last fertilised, what pH it is at, when last rested etc.I have masses of buttercups growing in my horse paddocks, could anyone point me in the direction of the right spray to kill them off with, thank you x
Way cheaper than other sprays suggested too, killed a lot on mine this year but best idea is sheepMCPA is best used when they are in flower
Nor will spraying help the pH!That won’t help the ph which is what the problem is

I think that @Skye steele21 has done a runner, too much info caused overload??
Yes but can’t be used in a knapsack. Envy best for knapsack use.

Get that done before anything else.soil ph hasn’t been tested yet
I’m there for the foreseeable, its a small private livery where I am, owner asks us to manage our paddocks plus I want to sort the paddocks anyway. Can pretty much do anything so if I need to lime I can get that done, but I’ll get a ph test kit first, thank you for your help, appreciate itGet that done before anything else.
By the sounds of it you’re a tenant - might be worth clarifying how secure/ long term that is before you get too much more advice as some suggestions might be more radical than others.
