Brexit is destroying Britain

I have explained before but UK governments for decades pre the eu ref were all pro eu (remainers) the UK governments had a say in how the eec/eu changed they also had a veto, they obviously didn't make a very good job of it or why would more than half of those that voted want to leave if it was so great.
I blame the UK remainer governments for the leave vote, Major, Blair and Brown done as much or more for leave as nidge did. Never gave the UK people a direct say in how things evolved as Ireland did just ploughed on, well they reaped what they sowed.

I didn't vote for a vote BTW, in other words I didn't vote Tory when they promised a eu ref and had there been a option of remain but no more integration without asking the people (which is what they should have done before) I would probably have voted for that as it was I picked the least worst option
I think you have explained it close enough to the truth, The people that went out there representing everyone were the problem and continued to last day and still is the case. The withdrawal agreement was the last cock-up and the ordinary person has to deal with the consequences as usual They can blame everyone but Borris and his cronies accepted it and said it was a world beating deal or something to that effect.

eu supporters seem to know about the wail.
LBP seems addicted to the papers and insists what they say is ture even when its proved otherwise.
Remainers decry the mail express etc as comics and right wing garbage full of made up rubbish and lies not worthy of their time and intelligence yet believe every word the guardian, times etc print as it reinforces their own view, you have to laugh at the irony of these clever folk

You posted a link to an article which I responded to, you obviously agreed with his point but as many seem to do didnt bother to check the source to see if the writer was biased or objective, his articles are little more than rants

And yet Brexit continues to wreak havoc.
I've got to ask, are things different in the land of spells and faeries?

Yet in the real world the supermarkets are full of goods the petrol stations are open, we are exporting record amounts of energy to bail out the parts of the eu that sold their soul to russia, ofcourse there are issues with the flow of goods mainly it appears via France , I've a mate who drives a truck as he gets bored at home, took beef to ireland from scotland a couple of weeks ago, correct paperwork and no issues, took the next load to france, same requirements to paperwork, held up in coquelles for several hours and given the run around, french customer very unhappy as late, following load the company he was hauling for said go via north sea into holland, so he did, it was just like the ireland trip, right paperwork and no issue, no surprise that the french are playing silly buggers, if it continues more and more companies will avoid going via the channel and going through France at all if they dont need to.

Only because you got rid of all your Gas storage.
Frances Gas storage is over 80% full, you have none except what can sit in the pipes.
Notable a bbc man was saying Norway will supply the EU before the UK due to contracts which put EU countries ahead of Non EU EAA.

We have our own LNG plants taking and storing gas from Qatar............

TBH, most folks seem to have accepted the referendum result from 6 years ago, and got on with their lives. I can't see much has changed at all since Brexit.:scratchhead: Covid has a far greater affect on our lives.

We don't actually need that much gas storage because we, unlike the EU, have sufficient LPG terminals at the ports. We have been exporting to the EU to help them out as I'm sure you are aware. As for Norway, ask them who they think is their most important ally, UK or the EU ?
Fact of the matter is that the EU has become Putin's bitch now. For every euro they send to Ukraine they send Russia 50.
Disgraceful. You can carp about the UK and Brexit all want you but you know how history will judge the EU.

Yes you're taking LNG and shipping it straight to the EU as, apart from pipe capacity, you've little storage.
