Brexit is destroying Britain

Not as badly as it's affecting France.

And why is it that, in the event of another referendum, the Leave vote would be even higher?????????

France is incredibly boring right now. That they're changing the tax on using credit cards for tipping is I think the most controversial thing going on.

I don't think that's true. I'm not really sure what that would have to do with anything even if it were true. I quite like fires for example, they can still get a bit out of hand.

Ah, don’t worry. @Danllan will be along momentarily, with a signed, sealed and delivered copy of CONZUK. That should save the day, and ensure an economic loin cloth, for the shrivelled embarrassment.
Always happy to educate you @Asstree, always... although it's like educating a brick wall.

(Astonishing that you are still too scared / embarrassed to comment on your beloved EU masters and fellow minions breaking their own laws, with especial reference to their appalling treatment of migrants... why is that...? 😐 )

As for the thread; what a crock of sh!t, pure spin from some usual suspects; no shortages anywhere around here, shops and petrol stations are full, nor around my family in Herts and Ayrshire, nor around some friends in Suffolk and N Yorks, I've not first hand reports from elsewhere.

Certainly some things are more expensive here now that previously, e.g. timber, but I've friends over there in Europe who tell the same story about many things - has Brexit put their prices up...?

Certainly hope my daughter finds the fuel to get to the airport (to fly here) tomorrow ... or else she is very close to that “marooned” word of yours😳😕

Just in case any of you are concerned, here in France our food shops are fully stocked, our petrol stations have no queues or shortages and we remain full members of the EU with all the rights, benefits and advantages that gives us😁
In fact things seem so desperate in the New Republic of Venezuela ( formally the UK) that I wonder if Shamina Begum could get her UK passport back if it turned out she had an HGV licence ?

It is said all the problems in the U.K. are caused by covid🤔
It’s kinda strange because I thought we had covid here in France, and Italy, spain, USA, India.....🤷‍♂️

Interesting to note that the MP quoted in this picture is the same IDS who lied so grossly (and clumsily) on his CV. To be honest (and maybe no connection with the fact that he dresses like a Biggles wannabe as he toot toots around the countryside in his little Morgan motor car) I think he'\s just a bit of a fantasist with little connection with reality

No, all the problems in the uk stem from incompetence...
This book by Michel Barnier is scathing and shocking, the incompetence he had to deal with from David Davies is truly staggering. The way in which the UK was comprehensively out manoeuvred and out negotiated by the EU is simply astonishing

How the mighty are fallen. Pity they drag the rest of us down with them.
