Kepak 700p for lambs. Any predictions on next couple weeks? 38kg do 18kg dead just now?
If what they say about chicken meat supply is correct ( and tbh i have no idea if it is or not ) then lamb meat could go higher yet!

Very best lambs will do 50% but other than that depending on where you send them you will be doing well to average 50% kill out across the board!

Someone the other day at market told me his lambs were averaging 51% across the board from on farm weights, sounded great untill it turned out that was based on weights when he draws them 2 weeks before he sends them in!

I wonder if theyve heard about this strike talk?🤔
Totally the wrong thing to do at this stage is such a strike as talked about on here!

But certainly ALL farmers need to be pushing the message be that at market/ to their deadweight buyers/ on SM etc that lamb/ beef prices need to rise a lot further to cover the massive increased costs seen now or if they do not increase the price they run the risk of not having anywhere near enough beef/lamb meat to fill their orders in the future!

None need to be saying they can manage off less.

Be under no illusion, it’s the council contracting that pays for this. Was also at a price that we would have been stupid too refuse. £32 500, 0% finance over 3 years.

and why would I want too be away making myself hungover when this morning I was woken at half 6 by a little boy so excited because his dad was home. He did a full morning, went too his mum in the house after dinner then back in with me at 4 till now. That’s worth so much more too me than beer.

plus the lads all got home this afternoon, non of them have too be in work till Monday. So they can get totally ratarsed at it doesn’t matter.

The funniest bit is the lad who just drank and wouldn’t do the rafting or the high ropes was forcing shots on everyone Thursday night. Handed 3 lots of £100 over while I was still there and he didn’t turn in until gone 4. He did nothing but spew all Friday and missed the steakhouse meal we’d already paid for! 😂😂. 🔔 end
Is that £32,500 paid deposit or trade in,and another 50%,or £32,500 on finance?

Total cost. £17k down, balance on 36 month 0% finance.
Looked a lot of tractor for the money. It’s so damn simple inside the cab it’s brilliant. I’ve had a gut full of computer screens from the damn Luxxum. Give me levers and gear sticks any day!!
