Amount of times I go to spray a field off for someone and it should be the combine in the field.

On our travels down to Frome we went through the Cotswolds past the must see yard full of machinery at Moreton in the Marsh see the combine was out in their yard

Well, Combine just about ready to go now but still a few bits around the yard to sort and the overnight rain has dampened the field I was going to start in. May go and nibble a bit off tomorrow afternoon just to make sure everything runs smoothly but not panicking.

Made a start this evening . 15% round headlands. 6 row kings barn. From our very basic bushes meter it says 64, most years 60 at best so pleased with that. stubble and straw has a slight pink tinge so a bit of potash left in it. not done enough yet to get an accurate yield, but in a bad year can get 3 runs in a tank full, an exception year 2 runs, and today we were getting 2 and a half’ish.

Rye and 2nd wheat turning quickly, fathers just gone on holiday for a fortnight, not sure it's going to wait that long. Might have to google some combine settings.....

The same probably, taken row crop wheels of a Month ago ,wheat can die on its own costs enough with fungicide to keep it green no point waisting that
Typical - older generation just can't seem to get up to date.
Will cut the barley this week rape getting close to spraying off and what looked a fantastic crop of wheat is now dying with lack of moisure and this on what i would say is heavy land and forecast to get even hotter grass is also taking hsrm now going to have to put buffer feed out for the cattle

He didn’t, we generally just get on with it when it’s ready, but we’ve just come of the back of a 5 week clean down of the poultry sheds and now everyone’s trying to fit holiday in. Only 2 out of 4 of us here next week, will have to rope brother in for a bit of grain cart I think.
