Seed is expensive circa £630 for 6 ha pack. But it uses 40% less nitrogen than wheat.

What did you do for a programme anyway.
We got
T0 moddus/3c/trace elements
T1 something for mildew/proline (used to use tracker here but no epoxi now) moddus/3c/trace elements
T2 Cerone/elatus era/trace elements
We've always been told to not go with an ear spray as it could damage the ear and cause more ergot.

T1 = Legend, profi Trinex, Stabilan, Gallifrey, Inke Sx, Master Mag.

T2 = Aviator, Comet, Curve.

Then had to fire brigade for late Rust with Deacon which cleaned it up well!

What variety are you planting, seed cost ? And what do you plan to do with seed if you combine it ? Have some light land also so maybe an option for me instead of burnt up spring barley

Think Bendicks is variety.

Plan to feed it to our own cattle.

Don't know cost of seed. Said he wouldn't rip me off.

I'm planning drilling ours in August and winter grazing it.

Time will tell if its a good idea.

Just what I've left 100kg/ha. 16.16.16.

Probably muck the stubble before ploughing it.
