I reckon the early payment probably has a lot to do with it. Might as well be invested in sheep as just sat there… but at those prices you really are playing with fire. That being said, they will be excellent lambs and as said last year these earlies were the ones that paid best all season. But also last year, the ones that paid best the year before blew the most this year! 😂😂 who’s be a damn farmer really! 😂😂

I went though mine yesterday after not taking stores to last sale at skipton,

had some at 45kg and fat, managed to get 45 out of em over 40kg and nearly all fat one of two slightly leaner but massive so stuck them in another lot,

Lets hope taking fat pays off, not taken any for a few years usually all stores will find out later when they email me :oops:
