Pleased to see someone has some grass, I would normally be coming north for ewe lambs, but may have to rethink this year. The dry ewes aren’t exactly up to their knees in it and the track to the water trough tells a story. Thankfully we are on mains !
There will be plenty of others thinking the same.

Sorry no idea i think hill farmers go to Wrexham last year there was a bit of difference in price some weeks so I was told don't send none my self any more to them got the t shirt and all that
Haven't sent any this year, last yrs went to Kenilworth though.
We stopped taking them when they went to Wrexham as they were quite often 20p less than Kenilworth

One of the well known dealers party trick is to buy sheep and pay for them but leave them at your farm until such like times………
Might be worth a thought
One such well known dealer sent my mate a load of “18/20 month old Char x bullocks” when they arrived there were 15 as stated and 15 8/9 month old suckler calves. Driver showed the paperwork and yes it was all down as being dropped at my mates. He rang dealer and said these weren’t right, don’t want young cattle. Come and get them. 6 weeks later a wagon rolled up, loaded the cattle and went. Dealer never turned up with the 6 weeks keep money though! 😂😂 all before 6 day rule and the TB mither of course. 😂
