Does it need to be run in 1000 rpmForgot to take before I started loading. Replacing a West which rusted out. First impression is the rotor does not spin so fast.View attachment 1066803

The Shelbourne design which uses all of the rotor all of the time makes a whole lot more sense than the west which uses the first 6 inches predominantly ends up in uneven rotor wear and crap spread pattern.I've found similar, I don't know if it was just wear or me not having the finesse to operate the thing. Always had a line of muck traipsed behind me from them.
The way the door operates on the Shelborne makes a lot more sense in my view.
The west was designed to spread slurry with the 1st few inches of the rotor, hence the guide welded on the bottom plate. The Shelbourne design which uses all of the rotor all of the time makes a whole lot more sense than the west which uses the first 6 inches predominantly ends up in uneven rotor wear and crap spread pattern.
Yes, but what about the reliability of it?
You really are a gentleman farmer!?

Looks a beauty, fantastic woodB15 Grade C
Love mine, but it’s less fancy in the lock plates.
Did buy a new scope today for my .243 though
What did you go for for the scope. Using a Schmidt & Bender here, good bit of glass
Not really. 25th out of 30 in Which? Reliability survey 2021We all know JLR don't perform well in reliability surveys.
Porsche, however, on a different level
