New toy day

I've found similar, I don't know if it was just wear or me not having the finesse to operate the thing. Always had a line of muck traipsed behind me from them.

The way the door operates on the Shelborne makes a lot more sense in my view.
The Shelbourne design which uses all of the rotor all of the time makes a whole lot more sense than the west which uses the first 6 inches predominantly ends up in uneven rotor wear and crap spread pattern.

The west was designed to spread slurry with the 1st few inches of the rotor, hence the guide welded on the bottom plate.
They need to be setup well tho, beater and plate need to be close on sloppy stuff.
Opening the door to far and you can hear the bottom plate start to bounce with the volume of stuff, that doesn't help the tyre line of 💩 either

What did you go for for the scope. Using a Schmidt & Bender here, good bit of glass 👍

I have a S&B on the 243 normally but it’s no good for NV add on.

Love my S&B. It’s the classic 8X56 30mm tube fixed mag. It sucks in light and works very well stalking or normal lamping.

Have a Pard digital add on that I want to put on the 243 for a while so needed a scope with parallex and not too many coatings on the glass.
