Devon, one herd of milkers in by night, everything else ,bar young calves still out
Bloody hellCows have been in since TB test on 24th/09. I had every intention of sending them back out once we had completed however in sunny Glossop the wet had different ideas....
Be a long winter this one will
It's not good this time at all.... Grass is really moving on so sheep have come on early and all my reseeds are absolutely flying but it has gone from a paving slab to a swamp in just a few weeks here, even the bike is leaving dirty marks on the ground as if it were mid December so there is no comfort other than that this year. I'm very unsure if I will have enough fodder to see them through.Bloody hell

A little, thank you. I always have a good carry over from the years before wrapped hay and such, I've just held a few more heifers back this time to bull so they may end up going to mart which would be a shame as they are some of the best I've had for a while and be the last of the BlueX bloodline I've had from sometime nowIf it’s any conciliation I have to buy in every year
