I thought it a little dear, a neighbour had been quoted £95-00 . It is always excellent stuff, never had any rubbish off this gentleman which I value.

The worst part is a lot was baled up brittle so if you undo a round bale in the shed it just all falls in a heap and you can't roll it.

Ours just go in the bedder, had enough of rolling them round with cattle pushing against you all the time. I watch the brother doing his in his shed and it just falls in a heap .

Agree. Some of them are a pain in the bedder too, can only get one on when they go pop. I suspect this bone dry straw will be appreciated next week when all this thaws.

A lot . ..I think . I would say we probably use 25/30% less straw ....but its not a scientifically proven fact.

I don't take the net off in the bedder . I just chop it all up .
