I'm not seeing the funny side sorry, if its staged or not , I don't care its a H&S nightmare, what if that electric pole had come down , what if he had trapped his hand under that forklift, sitting in the front weight box , I won't go on but these things are are just not funny
JC when unloading the cows saying he's always been a bit scared of cows and folks are killed every year "mostly ramblers, which is - of course - fine"

Life changing injuries can be sustained falling down stairs or riding a motorbike.....are you going to outlaw those?
Dad's cousin tripped over a small step in her home, has to walk with 2 walking sticks and can hardly hold a pen to write with now.

Cant can you :D

Bit like your War theories

You only have to read the comments on social media to see the impact this programme has, plus the first series saw more non-farmers asking me farming questions or discussing it with me than ever.

Binge watched it all in two sessions. Superb series, best TV for a long time. Clarkson reallly puts across some thought provoking things for Joe Public to consider. Despite what some on the thread think my opinion is that it is a big positive for farming amongst general public who watch it and don’t know/understand many of the issues farmers face on a day to day basis.

The very biggest problem i see and am saddened by is the loss of country communities ,the loss of country men and women the loss of natural stockmen and growers.
frivolous stuff like this does nothing ,nothing to educate or tell people how the above loss will be to the detriment of the whole Country .

I've No doubt Jeremy could do a very documentary on it and maybe he might after but i doubt it ,like a serious one, as in the ones he did about the War ,they were excellent and very well done and respectful .educational, inspiring , far far better than this crass and insulting amazon crap

bit Like junk food ,no better.

Ah, but Kaleb was laying in a front weight block on a closed road in a scene which was clearly cut before the tractor pulled away, so I think you should actually be jolly cross about it.

If rural housing was reserved for rural people, they would still be around.

not just that small farms are needed to start farmers off etc,/as part of the whole they are being slowly eradicated by greedy developers and bad rotten 'non' planning departments of the council , with no long term thought or intelligence just greed and want of more money to line their own pockets with.
There will be little open unspoilt countryside /properly farmable or for nature even, land without intrusion left in 50 yrs time if they go on like they are now. just people tramping all over the place walking there dogs and no local knowledge or even interest ,like the people clamouring in his 'shop' what a spectacle of the human species, disgraceful bunch of stupid crowd following ill brought up inbreds .

Just watched the second episode and I'm not sure why your all getting on the HSE high horse. Kaleb is depicted as wanting to use the tellehandler to push posts in and Clarkson decided to watch the HSE stuff

At least he finished the series with a great song.

Like him or loathe him Clarkson has raised public awareness of some of the issues affecting farming, brexit, planning, TB, H & S, etc, etc.

Of course it's staged for entertainment purposes, nobody but us saddo farmers would watch it if it wasn't funny. Ordinary day to day farming is generally very dull!!

I now get people who have zero interest in anything farming or agriculture asking me what I thought of the show, or if what he said was correct, etc. The public at large haven't a clue about real farming, and to have a complete "townie" start to ask me as a farmer about something they have seen on telly, be it is that really how much a tractor costs, or taking sheep to the abattoir, whatever, cannot be a bad thing.
Unfortunately nothing that Countryfile, or the Twee farming shows, or for that matter the NFU has done/shown/said has got the general public engaged so much.
Well done Jeremy Clarkson I say.

Bunch of Cu*ts, seemingly so typical of farming today. It is typical of them, even the big boy "loads of money" getting his expensive barrister from London. Seems the same everywhere, certainly here.
Thought it was a great series, finished it last night.
What a bell end he was ,bad spelling as mentioned and had no idea about area size either.for a barrister I’d expect a lot better
