Equivalent of £326 for AN on N basis. That's the question going through my head. Will summer AN price be above or below £326?
I'm no expert, but natural gas prices seem to be at a level simar to when AN was in the £270-£320 price bracket. However, grain prices are higher now, and seems to be trend for AN to be linked to grain prices (at least, a factor in the pricing)
Where does that leave the thinking? I'm thinking new season AN prices could be £350+.

We did some at 900! I was thinking there must be others who did so but no one has said anything and then realised i hadn't admitted it either! Average is about 650 which still looks bad right now, luckily, or maybe unluckily, we probably need a bit more stillNever mind, it could have been worse…. much worse.
I only bought a wee bit, to top up what I had in store, and enough that I could just get by if supplies did indeed dry up. My part load of 38N19S was £886! Urea was over £900 at the time, and know of someone locally that bought a couple of loads at the same time.Plenty will have done the same, but I suspect few will admit to it now.
My intention was to buy more if the price became more sensible, but it’s not got there yet.

I know a few folk that admit they bought at that sort of price, a couple buying their whole year’s requirements then. Might not have got it otherwise…
Did anyone buy two years worth of fert? I seem to remember people talking of doing it.

I bought 3t at £900 to get me through.
I did all bar 3t, it cost me £278.
Good job really as I’ve missed all the high prices at the moment.

If we have a cold March I wonder if energy will be in demand. Will fert have bottomed out if gas demand is up?
