Did he say whether it will still need lime?

😉

He needs to impress me a bit before he gets my vote, I’m afraid.
Presently, I can’t think why I would vote for a chap who can’t even buy trousers that are long enough for his legs. He looks like his shoes have fallen out with his hems.

Trouble is he's a size too big for toddlers but not tall enough for the children's range.

"Protecting UK food standards. Without exception, we will continue to protect food standards in the UK under all existing and future Free Trade agreements. There will be no chlorine-washed chicken and no hormone-treated beef on the UK market. Not now, not ever."

I thought we welcomed with open arms the neonic treated oilseed rape, the IPU, CTL, and epoxiconazole treated cereals from Eastern Europe, the paraquat treated soya, the atrazine treated maize from USA.

Only place we don't allow all these is here, on our own shores. That's fine, but don't have us compete with a hand tied behind our backs. Make it equal.

And how do you think Starmer and the Liberals would treat us. They are all over us cuddling lambs to get the gullible vote. Then they'll come up with monstrous taxes to redistribute hard earned assets.

Be turkeys that voted for Xmas with Labour. They see us as an easy win and will gladly sacrifice us at the first opportunity. A friend of the countryside starmer and chums are not.

....and yet I can say with certainty that NONE of this above will have been mentioned at the meeting today.

I saw a certain someone on TV again today bleating on about the importance of keeping the cost of food down for the consumers.

Yes I heard her on the news earlier, saying we must keep up production!

And we haven’t got monstrous taxes already?
Back in the early ‘80s we had Foot from the Loony Left talking about Unilateral Nuclear Disarmament now we have the Ridiculous Right telling us that the answer to all of our problems is Unilateral Trade Disarmament where we just open our borders to any crap from anywhere in the world as long as it is dirt cheap - meanwhile every other country keeps our goods out.
Starmer & Co. can’t possibly be any worse than this shower of s**t, can they?

I know that this is a bit political but what do we think?

1. Come clean on what Liam Fox has already pre-agreed with Woody Johnson former US Ambassador on US trade deal
2. Reverse all the negative impacts of the Australian deal
3. Start a policy of reversing the "easy" development of green fields for housing not agriculture
4. De-heat the South East of England
5. Appoint a grocery adjudicator with teeth
6. Study the iniquity of imports without comparable assurance standards
7. Halt and reverse the decline of the small and medium abattoir sector
