When June has finished!Be interesting to break that down to beef and dairy cows, plus what is overall stock numbers like?
"June saw lowest number of cows being killed in GB for 6 years! To total 32,780 (Down 3.14% on 2022 comparison)"
Was from the Meadow quality reportthat’s very interesting. maybe just regional?
chap that collects our culls, is doing 2 double decker loads a week, normally only 1, and you might not get a 'slot' when you want. Was from the Meadow quality report
My Monday email from pickstocks had cows at £4.20chap that collects our culls, is doing 2 double decker loads a week, normally only 1, and you might not get a 'slot' when you want.
pickstock dropped to £3.70 kg, well down from last week, the two things, together, suggest cows are being culled harder than normal.
but you never really know the whole story, and 2 + 2 might = 5 !!!

Currency has move from 1.13 to 1.17 so has made Irish beef an easier buy.pickstock dropped to £3.70 kg, well down from last week, the two things, together, suggest cows are being culled harder than normal.
The gain in fill could be offset by the change in currency or notI'm hanging on to my 15 culls till September, hopefully will have filled out nicely by then, and get them gone before my next TB check test
Steady I said 0.5 not 5p but better than nothing
