I've got my last 3 for a while booked in. £4/kg+ this spring has given us chance to have a tidy up, and I've paid very little in volume seasonality. See what the autumn brings.

Was from the Meadow quality report
chap that collects our culls, is doing 2 double decker loads a week, normally only 1, and you might not get a 'slot' when you want.

pickstock dropped to £3.70 kg, well down from last week, the two things, together, suggest cows are being culled harder than normal.

but you never really know the whole story, and 2 + 2 might = 5 !!!

Currency has move from 1.13 to 1.17 so has made Irish beef an easier buy.

I'm hanging on to my 15 culls till September, hopefully will have filled out nicely by then, and get them gone before my next TB check test
The gain in fill could be offset by the change in currency or not 🤷‍♂️
