I was scouring my photos, (almost) certain there wasn’t an old bath in my shed, i really should read what I type before hitting post! Now edited. How many stock do you manage to keep in the bath??
Are you on a single phase welderCurrent project is making a contraption for spooling out and straining rylock, very similar to some of the proprietary makes on the market…………View attachment 1095177View attachment 1095178View attachment 1095181View attachment 1095180

Yes, afraid I'm too far from the 3 phase supply to make it economical to install. So the welder is single phase. My radial arm drill and lathe are both 3 phase working (to a limited extent) of a phase convertor. A bit of a newby to MIG as well, so go with the synergic settings on the welder. If that's not working, I'm never to sure which setting to adjust! Are you on a single phase welder
We normally just cut a block out with chainsaw then split with an axe to get old but useable crooks outView attachment 1125324got this made for me for pulling out gate hooks from old strainers
Aye but this is if you want one out of a strainer you are going to reuseWe normally just cut a block out with chainsaw then split with an axe to get old but useable crooks out
Not any more now I have painted it! But yes that would be a good shout if I was to remake it. This is my MK1 version, the manufacturers version goes from the door pillar an up to the roof, which writes off access through the far side door, hence my reason for making it a bit shorter and going downwards with the support rather than up, hopefully maintaining access through that side. Not exactly sure what will end up on it yet, list so far is for the baler control box, phone and maybe a screen for a camera looking at the pick up hitch. Will see how they all fit on. I am gathering bits for a Agopengps autosteer system for my other tractor which might get replicated here if I can get it operational so might need to hang a toughbook tablet off it yet!@Larel great bit of ingenuity there for the accessory rail. Just a thought but have you got enough room to do two 45 deg bends in place of that 90 deg corner. If there was ever an event with the tractor rolling over etc that corner looks like it could potentially do some fair bodily damage.
We have a simple bracket in each cab done the same way so monitors and the likes can be moved easily, all you need is a short bit of 50mm box and 50mm flat, a nut and bolt. Not any more now I have painted it!
