i think urea needs a good bit of starch with it to work but what price is pot ale in ibc or 5 ton drop, or does it only come in artic loads, the dry distillers is £275 now

I think you are right the starch does the job
Poor silage can be corrected by molasses and urea. Even better by pot ayle and molasses.

What does the urea do to them?
