The key question is - When did you buy? 🤔

early 2021 …. and more in 2023 when they dropped

not enough though with hindsight !!!!!

bought AMD at similar times as well for sane reason, not quite so hot as nividia but similar story

my thinking was in a gold rush (bitcoin) the guys selling the shovels made the money ! and processors / graphic cards were the “shovels “ then someone mentioned AI and …… to the moon !

Are the banks worth a go, hsbc big profits and Barclays announced share buyback
HSBC profits good but not as expected, shares down yesterday
Mining down massively (profit) shares up Gamble gamble

Nvida up 15%, but has it reached the top, 40% of sales go to Amazon Google and Microsoft who are now uping their own production of chips

The next BIG crash you will all be thrilled to here is in early 2030s, cyclic, An experts predictions, who seems to have things right so far

Are you sure that wasnt James Thomson

Artificial intelligence is the next revolution, and right now Nvidia leads the pack in chip sophistication / speed. I find it hard to comprehend that they have developed a chip capable of one trillion functions per second..................yes, one trillion.!!
Now if we can bring more production on shore it should bode well for America.

Surely AI has all the markings of a mega bubble/Armageddon in the making?

In my view, any business that makes it really big, does so by making a bit of money off a huge amount of people, but does AI not risk that very base? If AI is going to be the end of an awful lot of well payed jobs, where’s the long term money going to come from?

Im not explaining this well but does anyone see what I mean?

Agree on the jobs but maybe it will create jobs but in a different direction, either way it is going to change pretty much everything we are doing today.......

Every time a job is lost, due to technology, 3 clip board wielding jobs are created.
No-one knows what use these people bring, but we have trainers, assessors, testers etc like never before.
