They get payments for legumes herbal leys and winter cover simular to SF1 , I'm not sure of the actual rate ,I just supply seed, biggest problem is having to issue new seed labels as they have to show every acres worth of labels to claim , farmers being farmers they get lost in the wind as they fill the seeder

Yeah, we aren't farming. We're in the business of making money and improving the land as quickly as possible... but our garden is doing well
If a gardener sells his surplus produce he is not different to a farmer who does so , my son has 3 Hens
Congratulations, you’ve almost got back to the state of those farm environments that never embraced tight rotations of monocultures and lots of soil disturbance.
What a shame DEFRA have deemed it necessary to throw money your way to persuade you to be more sensible in your outlook, whilst not rewarding those who never fooked it up in the first place.
