Welsh Sustainable Farming Scheme AND Protests

What was the point if the protest leaders and our farming unions are so thick, that they can't point out this fundamental fact of biology, that proves that carbon dioxide reduction is suicidal.. this fact can't be argued with..this is the basic fact that should be used..and explained to everyone.. explain this fact, and most of the SFS scheme is mockery...
I've only an "O " level in maths, and a cycling proficiency test certificate to my name.. but if I had a chance to put these facts to Drakeford and Griffith's.. it would be a dam site better than moaning while driving a £100k tractor.

The vast majority in Cardiff on Wednesday didn’t arrive in tractors (regardless of value), but were there to show unity in opposition to Welsh govt policy on SFS, NVZ and TB policies.
I had more than enough on at home, but felt it was important that we go and give support to that protest, especially as I’ll likely be flat out lambing when the next one comes.

Very easy to stay at home and moan about it all, doing nothing when you had the chance, then blaming it all on the mythical ‘them’.

Absolutely!

Do or die as an industry. Like the farmers in Europe we have to make a stand. The issues farmers are protesting about in Europe are near the exact ones pushing farmers in Wales to protest. It’s about the rural communities being taken over by urbanites then taking away our assets to mitigate the urban net zero problem.

It is a war on the countryside and we have to fight back!

Nice to be able to get a tractor on a field!

Swiss efficiency… they probably have the ability to balloon their tyres from the cab or astroturf the field prior to the protest.

Anyway, closer to home, I expect everything to die down until either Miles or Gething take the reins. For devilment, I hope they leave Griffiths in place.

A letter in the FG says to watch out for the NFNF being hijacket by extremists, eg climate change denier
My thinking being from the posts read all over TFF that the vast majority of members are not deniers 100%, probably 95%
And
And have the facts and figures to prove there is a problem with main stream medias projection of the drive to net zero
I understand some figure heads have unapropriate pasts, anti vaccine denier ect, doesnt look good with the public, who have been brainwashed with zero, and dont have the care to challenge it
Have we no one of eminent scientific background to rope in and support or cause????????????? OR for us to latch on to their findings.??????
Because the GOVs and everyone else seems to think we can solve this so called problem for them, without due reconpense (i dont mean what they want to give now, after all we re suposed to save the planet)

I removed myself from several protest chat groups on Facebook this morning, after they have descended into several days of ranting about such things as WEF, anti-vax, govt control and even govt control of the weather.
They aren’t concerned with Welsh Ag policy, other than as a means to use the protest to spout their conspiracy theories.

Following the science will cause government to label you as a net zero denier. Grazed extensive ruminants like the livestock systems in Wales do not add to warming according to the more advanced GWP* metric versus the GWP100 more widely used at the moment. There is no need to reduce any livestock in Wales. Our urban government is driven by the fallacy that cutting cows from Wales will allow them to keep pumping fossil fuels to power flights from Cardiff airport and all the other vanity projects.

‘If we tolerate this then our children will be next’!

So you believe everything the government says.. without questioning? Personally I will never forget the Mad cow disease fiasco, with the so called government scientific experts claiming millions of people would die of new variant CJD due to exposure to mad cow disease ridden beef... People have short memories.. Even the Foot and Mouth epidemic stank..PPE ,and railway sleepers being delivered beforehand...I rest my case

I thought the railway sleeper story was a conspiracy theory if I remember correctly? I also remember the story about the farmer going on holiday to New Zealand being told about the outbreak at customs in NZ months before it arrived here!

keep hoping to see a video made of all the Welsh protests with this as the music, even though not Welsh used to send tingles right through me when heard it during the 2022 World Cup. Hope it’s not insulting or anything but the history behind the song seems very fitting.

Cardiff city stadium belting it out during the qualifiers, makes you want to be Welsh!
